Rocknrollers/ Thea/ Scot and Julia

Rocknrollers

Three friends are playing in the band. The boys look like from palmy days of rock-and-roll. They rehearse, stay at the studio overnight where they chatter at ease. Vince, Bas and Sia are like brothers. Looking straight to the camera, they tell us about the challenge they have to face. 16 years old Sia is depressed. Friendship and music seems to overcome the illness.

Thea

12 years old Thea is different from other kids. She goes to special medical camps, sometimes a helicopter brings her directly to the hospital. Thea is an epileptic. This film tells her story using stills that are sometimes presented in quick succession and at other times linger. We see a loving and concerned look from one of her parents, a reassuring caress and friends.

Scot and Julia

Scott and Julia are the couple. Scott is 15 when he is involved in a terrible accident. He may never walk again but this doesn’t prevent from dreaming about their happy future. Sometimes it is hard to wait for Julia, especially when she is out with her friends. Then Dexter comes along. A young and jumpy puppy that will help Scott in his struggle for independence. But Dexter still has a lot to learn including giving Julia flowers.
